JoiBeatz is a Boston native and alumni of The University of the Arts with a BS in Music Business, Entrepreneurship, and Technology with a Minor in Film & Media Studies.

While living in Philly for 6 years and working under Grammy award winning engineer Benjamin Thomas for 3, she has gained Assistant Mixer and Recording Engineer credits from label and local artists ranging from NxG, WavesOnGianni, Brett Gray, OSHUN, Aria Bléu, Pick Patek, Béya, and more. She also recently participated in the first MixHer cohort hosted by Engineear’s and is now verified to mix music in Dolby Atmos.

Joi’s experience as both an engineer and an artist gives her the ability to help bring your song or project to the next level.
